We know you're worried about your children during this Pandemic. We understand, we're parents too. We get it. All children should be able to continue to learn joyfully. 

During the spring, summer and fall we listened to you, rolled up our sleeves and got to work. The result? An easy- to-use literacy experience for your children, most mirroring our innovative in- studio classes. Here's what we heard. Your child needs the actual book, we've ordered them for you. Your printer doesn't always work, we've done all the printing for you. YouTube read- alouds weren't as engaging as Storybook Workshop readings, we created our own voice- over read- alouds (some even with great sound effects). And for those who live far away, we will now send the material kit and books anywhere. 

No matter how your child is learning this winter, our program is an excellent supplement to keep them engaged in literacy. Our goal is to keep delivering creative children's programming, even during this unusual time. Children need to continue to grow in familiar ways. We  know the education team at Storybook Workshop can make your child's life a little sunnier in the days ahead.

Music, rhythm and movement are all important elements for language development and have always been an essential part of our Storybook Workshop Classes. This fall we've added them to our remote learning with a "live" weekly Musical Zoom Class. For our registered preschool and kindergarteners, learn with us as we guide your child through songs, finger plays, and musical adventures.

Storybook Clubs

With years of experience teaching Elementary School, our  Master teachers lead this new offering of creative, hands-on literacy- learning for primary grade students.

We hear you... Zoom learning can be a bore, but not with the Storybook Workshop Team. They know how to make each class exciting and full of multi-sensory fun!

Engaging book discussions lead our Zoom meetings into language boosting games, drama, art projects and literacy extensions. Our passion for books and the arts is contagious.

Let's enjoy literature!

Using age-appropriate picture and chapter books, this playful class will inspire readers to explore far beyond the words on a page. Small group discussions, literacy games, art and writing will give this class a "Book Club" feel. A wonderful supplement to enrich, educate and excite young readers. Via Zoom each week, we'll connect in our special signature Storybook Workshop Style! Enrollment is very limited.

Third and Fourth Grade  with Kerry Boyd M.Ed Creative Arts and Learning

Book Clubs have never been more exciting!

Carefully selected books from the Winchester Public School Librarians’ annual Reading Rocks Book List, will be the springboard to our weekly (and hopefully lively) small group discussions. This non-competitive club will inspire critical thinking skills while also providing our older students with a much needed sense of community. Join us as we harness the joys of Storybook Workshop through games, hands-on art projects and learning extensions. This Zoom experience is educational AND pure FUN! Enrollment is very limited.
